Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Rutina. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
Medical disclaimer — please read
Rutina is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device and not a source of medical advice. Features such as weight and blood-glucose tracking are for your own self-monitoring only. Rutina does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and its readings, charts, and target ranges must not be used to make medical decisions.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and rely on properly calibrated medical equipment for any clinical measurement. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.
Using Rutina
You must be at least 16 years old to use Rutina. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
Your content
You own the goals, habits, check-ins, weekly reviews, and other content you create in Rutina. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display it back to you so the service can work. We don’t claim ownership of your content and we don’t use it to train anything or sell it. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
When using Rutina, you agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights.
- Attempt to access other users’ data, probe or breach our security, or disrupt the service.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service, or use it to build a competing product from our data.
- Upload malicious code or use the app to harm others.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Rutina is free to use for tracking, and always will be — your history, your export and your daily check-ins are never behind a payment. Paid plans add unlimited goals, the full insight suite, and a weekly allowance of German conversation practice. What each plan includes is set out on the pricing page.
Who you buy from. Payments are handled by Link (Stripe), who is the merchant of record for your purchase. Your receipt comes from them, the charge shows on your statement as LINK.COM* RUTINA.DEV, and you can manage or cancel the subscription at link.com as well as in your Rutina settings.
Prices and renewal.Prices are in euros and include VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and we send an email before an annual renewal. If we ever change the price of a plan you are already on, we will tell you before it takes effect and you will have the chance to cancel first — a price rise will never simply appear on your card.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time, from your settings or from link.com. Cancelling stops the next payment and leaves the period you have already paid for running until it ends.
Refunds. Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK have a 14-day right of withdrawal on the first payment of a subscription. The Refund Policy sets out how that works, including what happens to practice minutes you have already used.
Practice minutes. The German conversation allowance is a weekly ceiling, not a balance you own: it refills each week and unused minutes do not carry over. Changing plan changes the ceiling from that point on — minutes already spoken stay spoken, and a downgrade never claws anything back.
Availability and changes
Rutina is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it running reliably, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the service, at any time.
Your data is yours
You can export a complete copy of your data at any time from Settings, and you can delete your account whenever you like. We encourage you to keep your own backups of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rutina is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions — medical, financial, or otherwise — you make based on information in the app. Your use of Rutina is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using Rutina and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we make a material change we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Rutina after a change means you accept the updated terms.
